  89. I got the new AF yesterday, just in time for the weekend. Nice timing,
  90. guys! :-)

  92. When I took it out of the mailbox I wondered for a moment if you had
  93. stopped
  94. doing CDs (which would have explained the absence of CDeadlines in the
  95. calendar 
  96. of late), but finally found something hard hiding inside the magazine.
  97. Are you
  98. going to distribute them like this from now on? Oh well, at least it's
  99. better
  100. than putting the CD in a featureless plastic bag...
  101. I'm not sure why you bothered to seal the 'envelope' though - the one I
  102. got
  103. is so tight I had to use some force (and my fingernails) to pull the CD
  104. out of
  105. it. It definitely isn't going to fall out on its own!
  106. Anyway I moved the CD to a leftover jewel box (time to get some more I
  107. guess)
  108. and with a bit of trimming (and removing the glue flaps) I could use the
  109. wrapper as an inlay card. If you're going to keep distributing the CDs
  110. like
  111. that it would be nice if you could leave a little space at the top and
  112. bottom
  113. so I can trim the envelope without losing any text...
  114. I neeed something for the spine though. To make it look similar, what
  115. font(s)
  116. did you use for that before? (Any chance of getting the spine text as
  117. an ILBM
  118. file on the CD or something so those who want one can just print it
  119. out?)

  460.  I previously used ForceIcon to give the icon images for devices ie
  461. DF0, PC0 etc that I wanted but since installing os3.5 it doesn't seem
  462. to work. Is forceicon uncompatible with os3.5? if so is there any
  463. other way or program I can use to achieve the same effect?

  504. won't work. I'm hoping that my soon-to-be-ordered Catweasle and Kylwalda

  1403. It's the latest version of the most advanced 'Tron'-game...26 objects,
  1404. 8 creatures, isometric 3D, sound effects & music, 0-4 players, integral
  1405. field editor, etc. etc. It has been in development since 1993 and 7
  1406. years later it is up to version 5.3. It's our flagship product and
  1407. quite popular. It has been in Amiga Format issues 129-131 (we're based
  1408. in Australia, 131 is the latest issue that has hit these shores yet) on
  1409. the coverdisks and CD-ROMs, but those versions are quite old
  1410. comparatively (V4.3 on issue 131). Since then there have been many
  1411. enhancements.

  1413. Permission is again granted to Amiga Format to distribute the game.

  1424. This has 3 functions: (1) to replace Report 40.2 (official bug

  1429. The ACSE qualification is an ICOA-endorsed qualification for Amiga
  1430. software developers. This has come from Amigan Software, on behalf of
  1431. the Amiga Qualifications Working Group (AQWG). Report+ 2.x is your
  1432. complete ACSE pack. Except of course that you must send your keyfile to
  1433. us for certification and entry on the ACSE 'roll of honour'. The
  1434. qualification covers AGA and OS3.5. It has been developed by programmer
  1435. for programmers. Now you can finally have an industry-standard
  1436. certification similar to MSCE and CNE but pertaining to the Amiga.

  1438. Report+ 2.01 runs in any screenmode, and has several other enhancements
  1439. over Report+ 2.0. It is available now from http://users.interact.net.au

  1888. Has anyone got an IDE Zip Drive working on FUSION (and how?), by using the
  1889. proper IOMEGA zip drive drivers?. I have set it up to be unit 6 running via
  1890. atapi.device unit 1. I can format it as a Prodos disk though.

  1893. CD-ROM drives no problem.
